Today I am thankful for the fall.
It’s actually my ‘new’ favorite season (kicking spring to the curb by a small margin.) After a solid few months of sun dresses and sandals I can go back to jeans and cardigans and style my hair without fear of sweating it out in a few hours. I love drinking wine sitting at our fire table and turning on the ‘twinkle’ lights on the patio. Putting the kids back on the schoolbus after a summer of ‘playyyyy with meeeeeeee’ is very welcome as well. Fall marks the start of routines again for me and after a loose summer schedule it’s comforting.
