It seems strange that moving my office 20 minutes south of where I was before could open up a whole new set of business opportunities. While I haven't found them yet, I'm sure there are a whole new batch of business networking groups (yes, I've already looked in Meetup.com) and companies that I could get to know. Heck even the lunch spots are all different than what I had before (which was none).
So, where do I start?!

Ah, change…:) enjoy your new digs!
+Lynette Young have you checked out an organization called BNI (http://www.bni.com/). They focus on entrepreneurs and meet once a week. My girlfriend +Melissa Larson is an area director for IL, but I'm I do believe has contacts all over the country. The nice thing about this organization is that only one sector can be in a meeting. So you will not have the same type business in that chapter. EI: There will not be 2 businesses that do construction. They will look for another BNI chapter to place you in.
Hey Lynette! Happy pursuits await you.
Pick one and begin +Lynette Young the first step is the hardest get that done and the rest is easy —-
"no journey begins until the first step is taken"
Oooo how I love new opportunities +Lynette Young ! How exciting for you! Do let us know how you are getting on with it.
Break A Leg…as we say!
Thanks +Michael Donovan I know about BNI. It's not a fit for me at all because of how they structure their networking. It isn't a fit for my type of business either, since I'm not in the position to bring lead sheets to a meeting every single week or get removed from the group.
I'll keep you posted. I try to go to one business networking event per month over here. My fiance is a member of various business associations through his job. They're always looking for "fresh blood". We primarily attend the events in Burlington County, sometimes Camden County.
I'd start with lunch, personally. (-:
