My personal and professional interests are with female entrepreneurs, professionals and business owners utilizing digital and social media. I don't really see any particular focus on that, and to me, it's everything. The online digital space (which much larger than "social media" or even Google+) is the new frontier for professional women (and the girls that will eventually be those women).
Women 2.0 has paired up with L'Oreal USA to 'foster leadership and innovation at the intersection of the beauty and technology industries.' To me, the technology & beauty industries are about as opposite as you can get. Maybe that's why it's a good partnership, but I just don't see the connection (yet).
So, what I am working on creating that merges women and digital?
A place and community where women of any age, education, personal or professional background, career status, or global location can learn how to effectively use the power of digital media to improve their lives, careers, businesses, and environment by learning to define and amplify their voice online.
(Run-on sentence be damned <grin>) Right now it's just me, but hopefully by the end of next week, there will be three more on my team. It's time to kick the tires and light the fires!

Perhaps in the coming days
It will be interesting to see what they do with this. I'm skeptical, but I'm an old school geek that way…
Have you connected with Aliza Sherman? You two think so in line with one another.
+Adrienne Graham lol yes actually, I did a Hangout interview with her. I've long admired her & her work!! (She's FAB!)
She is! I love her dearly and consider her a friend. If you haven't connected one on one beyond the interview I suggest you do. She is very gracious and open, and she loves taking about women in tech. Who knows, you two might come up with something together. 🙂
Great idea Adrienne! I've got a plan in motion, just trying to expand it out where it actually makes a difference in the world 😉
yeah
