I'm starting to hit upon some interesting / funky issues with circling people in Google+. Without diving into a day-long testing process to figure it out myself, I'll throw it out here and see if anyone has answers.
1) I know of the 5,000 circle limit on the number of people you can follow, but today I seem to be hitting the daily limit on ads.
I think it is cumulative across all the +Pages connected to my account. Am I right?
I wish verified accounts (people and/or pages) could bypass this. I'm managing quite a few pages (not all on this account though) and I seem to hit the limit daily.
2) Google Contacts is my nemesis. Someday I will get to clear and organize that out, but right now it's a disaster and I can't seem to determine if 'business' contacts are getting dumped in the 'Other Contacts' in my personal gmail account.
Are the people that I circle via a +Page pushed over to my personal Google Contacts?
Currently, the maximum number of contacts that you can have in Google Contacts is 25,000 and I will blow through that pretty quick with the pages I have attached to my account.

Limits on circles – Google+ Help
Google+ limits certain circle actions to protect users and Google+ from abuse. This includes, but isn’t limited to:
Max number of profiles allowed across all your circles
There’s a limit of 5,000 for
Google+: View post on Google+
i don't synchronize Google+ contacts with my original Google contacts, so i don't have that pain.
So have I.. if someone shares a circle with me and i try to move them to my circle.. GOOGLEDOOM.. but i find them on the sidebar the
Google genie lets me add them..
Those google techies are just having fun…
+Lynette Young You are in a very small minority of users in terms of usage, and have been one of the early evangilists of Google+. I wonder what +Yonatan Zunger can say about these issues.
I actually understand why Google put these limits in place, they were not arbitrary, they were measures put into place to prevent abuse. However, I don't think you are abusing this system, but are rather a very heavy user.
There are daily throttles and we might want to loosen them some, especially for trusted users. You're definitely not abusing the system. 🙂
+Christine Paluch business users (that run pages well anyhow) must run into this issue every day. I just can't understand how they wouldn't.
+Lynette Young Personally, I would survey the business users themselves to see how this issue was effecting them in terms of pages. I would also look at the data, in order to identify the inflection points to suggest potential changes to the developers. I don't work at Google though, and I am an analyst, not the software architect who is familar with the nuts and bolts of the system.
The reason I looped in +Yonatan Zunger regarding this issue is because he is the software architect for Google+. This is stuff he is intimately familiar with. In terms of these issues you are running into he can directly address this to the Google+ team.
I suspect you are probably not the only one who is running into these issues, but you are probably encountering this more regularly because of your activity level.
I keep getting throttled by the daily limit when trying to organise my circles. It seems to be at around 1500, when adding people I already have in circles, to other circles. I can understand limits on adding new people but re-arranging those already in circles doesn't make sense. How do people sort their circles without it taking weeks? There must be a lot of people hitting the re-organising circles limit.
I've been getting the daily limit error for 3+ days now. Seems to me that isn't daily. Can you help +Google+ or +Yonatan Zunger ?
