+Deborah Ng's book Online Community Management for Dummies is on sale on Amazon. I've read the book and can say that it's not just for official community managers. It works well if you want to get your head around dealing with your own 'community' on social networks. My favorite chapter is Chapter 10: Encouraging Community Interaction & Involvement. If you run a brand page on Google+ / Facebook or are in charge of a Twitter account for a company you should probably read this book.
I also highly recommend +Evo Terra & +Tee Morris' Podcasting for Dummies & Expert Podcasting Practices For Dummies books.

Thanks, Lynette! I really appreciate the plug.
no ebook? 🙁
+Mohammad Khan It's also available on Kindle
+Deborah Ng It is? That is awesome. But I didn't see it when I visited the Amazon page. Why? Because Amazon shows no Kindle love to Pakistanis. Akkhh! Anyways, would love to get my hands on this nonetheless. It is duly added to my wishlist and will get it from some friend coming over from UK or US etc. But probably will get it! -_- 😀
+Mohammad Khan I had no idea Kindle libraries weren't available in Pakistan! That's awful and unfair. I'm sorry that is happening over there. Do you have public libraries in Pakistan? (I apologize for my ignorance, sincerely apologize). Here we have libraries where you can download/rent Kindle books.
That's the thing +Christine Cavalier … we have pretty much everything, EXCEPT Kindle's service and PayPal. I mean, I have ordered +Deborah Ng 's book through a contact coming in from London, to save on the scandalous freight of course 🙂
And you say here … where is here for you? 🙂
And just to increase some info on Pakistan, you can start with this Wiki entry on our infrastructure for the time being … http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistan#Infrastructure
🙂 And of course, Wiki is a much better place to start than say, Fox hehehehe…
I don't watch Fox news, +Mohammad Khan , in fact, I don't watch any US news (I'm in the US). It's all very bad and skewed. When I want news, I go online and hear it from trusted people, or if I have to, I'll turn to British news organizations. Thanks for the link. I'm going to apologize for Fox news, too, come to think of it. The US is a weird place. It's a great place. But it has its ridiculousness, just like everywhere else.
And thanks for letting me know that wiki link is reliable.
Thanks +Christine Cavalier for such a well though out comment. And yes, Wiki is a good place to start. And just like you are a part of the image that I'll eventually make of the US, so am I a representative of my country. I know, it sounds almost cheesy, but that's how it is, isn't it? 🙂 I am glad I ran into you though 🙂 All the best, and ask away whenever you have a question or three 🙂
