While it may appear I cruise around Google+ all day, I actually have a "day" job. I put that in quotes because I work 16 hours a day, so technically it covers night as well! I decided I needed to account more precisely for my time during the day, just to see where the flippin' time slips away to! This is just today's list… tomorrow it will just be more. I need more coffee.
1) Writing chapters for my book, and researching, and writing…
2) Going through multiple updates to a WP site a client needs to get online (I do sites if it's part of a large project but don't do WordPress as a standalone service)
3) Finish up materials for two on-site training session with clients
4) Walk a friend through the idea that 'getting to the top of Google search' isn't as easy as visiting a website and clicking a few buttons (note, it's for a client of his, not my friend specifically, I'd smack him otherwise)
5) Contacting potential guests for the +Women of Google+ Monday Hangout on Air show & the Wedesday +Media Chit Chat Hangout on Air show.
6) Finishing up some marketing / abstracts for talks I was accepted for.
7) Working through a syllabus for four coaching clients.
8) Working on my own homework for the advanced coaching certification course I'm taking.
9) Drawing up designs for a sewing project (yes!) to make myself a funky arm sling (I'm going in for major surgery right after my final book draft is due)
10) Doing some light research/designs on the new office / studio build out for me
This doesn't even begin to cover any non-work activities with my family. I'm tired just thinking about it.

Wishing you a great day 🙂
Have a great day 🙂
That is one of the things I am attempting to over come. Allowing time to slip by
The other problem I face is four titles for four book, but I am not a writer. I have been carrying books inside for 40 years. Just recently made decision I want them out.
Yikes! I'm exhausted just reading that! 🙂
Wow, I'm tired reading that, too!
Great idea! I've been wanting to track what I do daily. I think I'll do the same and make my own post as well. Thanks +Lynette Young
Yes, I recently really wanted to account better for my time so I installed RescueTime and am using Toggl as religiously as possible. It's amazing how much I work and how I don't really have to work that much. Thank you Tim Ferriss.
If I may ask +Lynette Young, what did you learn from this experience other than that fact that you do a lot of stuff?
That a lot of my time during the day is spent not on my actual projects / tasks but dealing with phone calls & emails from people switching up my priorities. One 6 minute phone call from a client yesterday totally threw a wrench in the next three weeks for me. Nothing 'bad' just shifting priorities when I am still responsible for a boatload of other priorities and other clients.
One of the things I wanted to do was share a simple technique for time and event management. Problem, I really do not think individuals want to stop playing stupid, andd that scares me.
Wow … thats a busy day … pounders I'm not even sure i could try to pull that one off.. but at times i have day's like that ..
+james mercer going at it assuming people are stupid is really counter-productive. Have some faith in people, and don't assume they/we are all dumb. I personally use the Pomodoro Method to get work done.
Ms Young I have looked at some of your comment. I do not know if they are true or not. But just in case they are I will share with them. For this is the reason I have a computer. It was my intent to spend my day in a different way, but being insane can be fun. I am going to blog for that is the only way I know to put that much information and since I want to do it happily. I will say it will be ready by tomorrow morning. If I can help someone it is always fun. there will be a story to go with it
+james mercer no one said you need to spend your day on my posts. Have a nice day doing whatever you please. I'm getting back to work.
I can tell you never took advantage of my request to read my blog. If you had those words would never pass your lips. If you had read any of my post, G+, face book, Twitter, blogger you would know what I think of people.
/reported & blocked – apparently trolling/
Time management, what a concept, I'm more a spur of the moment, see how I feel type o' guy. As long as I make enough to cover bills, and a coupla luxuries, work can take a running jump. My priority is: Me first, whatever the hell else second. =)
Good luck with your extensive task list though. {=D I somehow feel even more relaxed when I know people are rushing off their feet. Makes it seem like the world spins a slower for me. Heh ha. ( >.0) Aaahhhhh. *reclines*
