   As a parent of a child on the spectrum, I can tell you, this is spot on. The minute by minute struggles they go through to keep it together when every thought they have is counter-productive to doing just that, takes every ounce of energy and willpower they have. Now people can see how excruciating it is for them to execute what we all take for granted. Thanks for sharing this +Lynette Young.

   I've never believed that autistic people are idiots, just that they have no way of filtering like we do – much like ADD people. This video confirms my suspicions. I have the medical community can learn and help others through Carly. She is an inspirational teenager.

    I don't know anything about autism, but I'm familiar with the stigma. It was once also thought that deaf people were mentally deficient simply because they could not communicate.
