Does anyone know if the Suggested Users List (the link/popup in the right column of Google+ that says 'Find people') is different based on your country or language? Because that would be brilliant!

I'm not sure, but I've directly compared my News category with my friend from Hollywood, and mine is definitely more UK-oriented!
I'm pretty sure Britney is there no matter what.
Now that Google knows everything from me (according to the media, that is…) why not suggest users based on my current location or latest search? Or maybe those who are watching the same YouTube vid as I do… 🙂
They have the power ! 😉
Pretty sure that's not the case since I never see Dutch people showing up there. Great suggestion though. Also don't get why What's Hot posts are so un-targeted. Google already knows what my interests are, why not match those posts with that?
I think it is based on locations and language. researching….
Well I didn't find any articles on the matter, but my suggestions have definitely an australian flavour. I'll send you a couple of screenshots +Lynette Young
Don't think so. I'm based in switzerland, and i got you in my stream. But maybe it's because of my english profile… I'll test it tomorrow. 🙂
+Manuel Sychold There are global celebrities like +Lynette Young that have no boundaries. They are for the whole world to enjoy. Any Switzerland celebs that you know are in Google+? By the way, we are talking about the "Find interesting people" in the right column.
Aw thanks +Alex Garcia but I beg to differ! I only speak and understand English 😉 that leaves out a good part of the globe.
+Lynette Young That calls for a speedy course in Spanish and Chinese then… with that you've got over 80% of the world covered… 😉
+Alex Garcia yeah, i'm talking about this too;) good to know 🙂
