    Doing much the same as you are – it's still cold here so I need to go and fetch some wood and light the wood burner. Spring came yesterday for a day and we have now relapsed into sludgy grey skies.

    Sounds like a good plan to me – it's dusk already here so I'm starting to think about what to do for dinner. After a floppy day I feel like comfort food too, even though I can't use the rain as an excuse – it's been the dryest winter for over 70 years here and the farmers are all really worried

    If you lived in Vancouver you would be making a lot of chili and corn bread. We are going through our rainy season which last from late October until April showers.
