Anyone in Pottermore? It's overdue by months & the blog updates are spotty at best. With all the money JKR has you think she'd hire a better team to do the project.

I think +Lisa Nieves may have tried, but I have been confusing her a lot with other people lately, so I may be calling her out for something she knows nothing of.
Typical that never changes
I was just wondering about that this morning. I missed the cutoff for joining the beta (I was a little too Potterless). It was supposed to go live in November..
<<Edit Addendum>> This is the last public info on site status:
/Start
Friday 16 December
You may have noticed that we made some changes to Potions during last week's maintenance period.
Following the feedback you gave us in the Pottermore Beta survey, we've shortened brewing times and tweaked cauldron speeds to make brewing potions even more fun.
As ever, we'll be monitoring the site to see what we can make even better, and we'll be making further changes as the Beta continues. You can continue to help us shape the experience by logging in to Pottermore and using the various features on the site.

Conclusion: fiddling around
Lol I thought so to. So much for that.
My daughter has been feverishly awaiting its opening.
I wonder whats holding them up?
I got in the beta. I think it might be just how feverishly people were running to do the spells and potions and other such things. So, it may be server issues with the demand of those systems.
How did you like the beta?
I registered for a beta invite the VERY FIRST DAY it was open to send in emails (never got in). We actually sent three different email addresses (me, my husband, my daughter). I'm seriously disappointed in the lack of communication. Months go by without any word (for the record, saying you don't have updates isn't an update). Most of what they talk about on the blog is content from within the system. Doesn't help at all if you are still on the outside.
Yeah I agree with you there its just pure torture.
I liked the beta, +Bruce Hatton for the most part. Some of the systems didn't work very well for me, but overall I'm hopeful it'll be a nice site.
However, I'm with +Lynette Young that the lack of communication is an issue. I don't really like that they promised an October opening and its now January and there's still no opening or hint of when it may be opening. I'd even take them saying "it's going to be another few months because <insert public version of what's going on>". I've seen this happen with tons of games and sadly, its usually a sign that the game is about to die.
Lucky for me, I have Virtual Hogwarts for my Harry Potter fix in the meantime. Though, I'm still looking forward to seeing what they do with Pottermore and optimistic it'll fulfill its potential.
Ah I see, Thats better then nothing I suppose.
I know….I've been wanting to get into it. Daughter is finally old enough to read the books – so she's on Goblet right now. I figure when she's done, maybe we'll both be able to get into Pottermore at the same time….
is discussing this post in a hangout. https://plus.google.com/hangouts/8472391394aa04c1dadfe100241d2d82fcb70286?str#_z123dlxpzpr1dxwsj224gnixunuiih5xj04
I know people who had promised the Harry Potter ebooks for Christmas based on the promise of the site opening. I think they missed a lot of Christmas sales.
The failure of Lego Universe may be causing some worries for the 'experience' portion of the site, and what people will actually be willing to pay for.
