Today I am thankful for my business.
I’m a serial entrepreneur – the true definition of the word. I’ve owned retail businesses. I’ve owned consulting businesses. I’ve owned coaching practices. I’ve owned a professional speaking business. I’ve owned a marketing agency. I’ve worked for small businesses. I’ve worked for enterprise businesses.
Right now I own a software business. I function better when I’m not shoved in a corner (or a stand-up desk) working on ONE type of task day in and day out. Right now I can work in marketing, sales, business development, product features and design an entirely new line of service for our company. No way being an employee would ever allow me to flex my muscles like that. There is no place I’d rather be and no “job” I’d rather be doing than working on and in my own company!
