I am addicted to +Diana Pirillo & +Chris Pirillo's vlog (video blog). It reminds me of the 'old days' in 2004 & 2005 when people did basically the same thing with audio-only (podcasting). It's a primary reason that audiences became so attached to the producer – you were getting real peeks into lives you wouldn't normally.
I've been on the fence for some time now about doing my own vlog but a good part of me wonders why people would care. Chris has a very large and dedicated community of #Gnomies that are highly interested in everything he does – from LEGO to boxed wine. I'm hardly interested in the boring day-to-day of my life & behind the scenes of my business – who else could possibly want to tune in! Of course on a strictly business/professional level vlogging is brilliant, but I tend to put more of myself 'out there' than just business. Maybe I'll play around a bit with vlogging!

awesome stuff. Been a gnomie since year 1
I think that you should do it! You always have really cool things in your post.
The key difference between vlogs and Podcast is the visual part… I am addicted to Podcasts as they help me get through long driving hours. I even thought of listening to them while running.
I can't see myself dedicating hours a week to watch these productions while sitting by the computer – there's so much to do, and it's a distraction.
If you happen to go Audio, please inform – that would be amazing
Do it. Talk about what though love/hate/enjoy. I'm done with Chris Pirillo. Its not what he said but how he handled it and is still dragging it out.
It is hot!!!!!
Who knew life could be so… entertaining?
It's fun to watch +Chris Pirillo run around the Gnomansion. Someone needs to come up with a camera rig that provides the over-the-shoulder Wrestler POV. A set of Google Goggles might be fun, too.
I love the camera angles & editing on the videos. Chris is always a lot of fun. I'm holding out for bloopers….
+Daniel Gray +GoPro provides exactly that.
I do miss seeing Chris on television though.
I'm familiar with GoPro, +Yas Mean … I own three Contour HDs. =) What I haven't seen is a rig that allows you to put the camera two feet behind your head for a follow-along.
+Daniel Gray chest strap, pvc piping and duct tape man. get creative. :p
+Yas Mean Hey, like they say, you can do anything with duct tape! Perhaps a steadycam from the waist-level to keep the frame clear of gear … or just do it all with a dolly shot on smooth floor.
DO IT Lynette!
very interesting, I also like
