How dumbed down is this programme? Switches from audition to documentary back to audition in 10 seconds, the average attention span of a viewer. Incessant music trying to evoke emotion. The whole thing is filled with a moronic audience that cheer, boo or otherwise make noise over the smallest of things and typically judged by three people severely lacking in talent.
It's sad society has evolved to this. Still, this is ITV so it's expected.

Its important to remember the art in its purest form. This couple are on stage together and to keep there integrity should remain together. I'd much prefer see a couple stay true themselves expressing naturally without the idea of greed, fame and fortune. Imagine the ambience of a room with these two inside today, tomorrow, in a year, 10 years
etc + intimacy, music, art, progression … OR, add. Simon Cowell, money making corporations, brain washing commercials, shit for the ears, eyes and mouth. 2 sides of the coin perhaps. What people hate about Simon is that he is brutally honest…brutally. But that doesn't make him wrong. Jonathan's voice totally blew me away and her's was good too.
I also think it was cool that Simon is always able to admit when he is wrong.

This is a once in a lifetime voice that will leave people an impression for life. He has a beautiful tenor voice and will have a long a wonderful career. There are tenors out there who will love to have him on board. Charlotte is good and she to will have a career but Jonathan will go a very long way. He is the next generation tenor.

He has an amazing friend in that girl. Glad for him that she got him there. She knows that it's not about her. I'm absolutely no opera fan but his voice is superb.

Wow. I worked at a major university's school of music for many years, and never heard a voice quite like that. It truly is unbelievable that the kid is 17 and he has that much vocal control and conveys emotion in such a way. The audience went nuts…. Is this the only performance by them so far? I would love to see more.
That.was.fuckin.AWESOME! Hope they both keep up with their dreams and get some sort of deal going on. They both sounded beautifully and props to the dude for having the confidence to go on, on stage.
p.s. For the record though, American Idol, Britain Gots Talent, and whatever shows like those are still horrible, stupid, over-dramatic, manipulative, and scripted garbage. I'm ONLY acknowledging the guy and the chick because they truly do have great voices, and they sound better than 99.9% of "artists" here in the States.

Charlotte's voice was under pitch, weak and thin. Jonathan's was very strong and well formed for his age. I cannot WAIT until he's 10 years older and singing in an opera or on Broadway. He'll go far. This performance probably went far to boost his confidence. If he nails another like he did this one… Thank you, Charlotte for sticking by him and pushing him forward.
