The very first copy I ever got my hands on came on 5.25" floppy's. Uncompiled. I then hopped to Netware & Token Ring. And Cicso. And Microsoft. And a ton of certifications (that are all now defunct & worthless).

IBM's OS/2 was a total flop 25 years ago – but we use it every day in ATMs and subway stations.

I had a fancy copy on 3.5" floppies, +Lynette Young. In other news, I'm horrified to discover that was 25 years ago…
I love #os2 , I have a VM running it right now!
My first copy was OS/2 warp. It came on 20+ 3.5" floppies.

I had it on 3.5 inch floppies, it couldn't have been 25 years ago….could it?
Ran OS/2 warp on my home PC after I finally retired my Amiga way back when. In fact that helped me get my first real IT job as a client of my company was using OS/2 for their financial branch and our company needed someone with a knowledge of OS/2 for support and to act as a local admin/helpdesk. I know many point of sale systems were still using it 10 years ago (Borders book stores and some others). It was a pretty good OS, IBM just sucked at marketing it to the general public.
