If I ever see someone complain about something being too hard or too technical, I will send them this video and this blog post on +LockerGnome. I can't even imagine +Chris Pirillo's reaction when he saw +Christopher Hills' 'response' video. Christopher is a video editing rockstar!!!!

Incredible. Moving. Just think how technology has helped him communicate, create, be self-actualizing. And how many people with CP in decades gone by had no recourse like this, were institutionalized and branded incapable of learning. I grew up next door to two kids with CP and I understood their speech perfectly, but I admit I wouldn't have been able to follow Christopher's without subtitles.
I know that this is about the awesome kid and his awesomer family. But I'd like to point out another thing I can't help but observe.
Everyone seems to have this threshold of giving encouragements. Here's what I figure: Most people will pick faults at anything, and a few will pick the good points – and anyone trying to create something knows these two groups, right?
The social net I think amplifies this. The curators like you Lynette (and +Chris Pirillo et al) want to encourage people. And that seemingly little shift in perspective makes all the difference. Keep doin what you doin.
