+Drew Olanoff really? OY. I like you but you make my head hurt. 😉
EACH network is for everyone. Just because content is produced a little heavier by one group of people or the other doesn't make a difference.

If Pinterest is the social network for women, Google+ is the social network for men
With all of the talk about how Pinterest usage is skewed towards women, Google+ is apparently dominated by men as more than two-thirds of its 90M members are guys. This is good news …

google has MSD–Multiple sexuality Disorder.
Hmm.
<—Female. Not been invited to Pinterest. G+ appears less skewed than my 30% female college. Maybe it's who I'm circled with.

1/3 women is still amazing. Reddit for example is a full 90 percent male.
Facebook is the social network for moms.
Well, Google thinks I am a male based on my geeky web designer, techy searches…
To me the interesting question is why does the non-gender-specific functionality of Pinterest resonate so strongly with women? Women are literally saying "I'm addicted to it," whereas men are saying "I don't get it." That's a pretty big disconnect I think.
As a man I can attest ti Brian's observation. To me pintrest is nothing more than cloud based bookmarks. I don't see a need for it. My bookmarks function in Firefox (or favorites if you use ie) works perfectly fine.
OY, now +TIME is jumping on this "story." http://techland.time.com/2012/02/15/men-are-from-google-women-are-from-pinterest/
Maybe because I don't give a flying shit whether there are more women than men on Pinterest I can use it for what it is – and have fun.
+Brian Titus I saw that. Lazy journalists / writers. That's all that is, but sadly it will give people the wrong impression.
+Lynette Young yep. it really is the laziness that's most offensive.
