What a vibrant and colorful woman Helen Lambin is! I've seen a lot of people say they would want her for their grandmother, I'd like to be as 'brave' as she is to get that much ink. The unintended benefit of all these tattoos, according to the interview, is that her body art is opening up a line of communication between her as a senior person and younger people – across all backgrounds and lifestyles. She is seriously beautiful & badass all at the same time! What an inspiration to live you life to the fullest.
I say amplify your voice all the time (meaning find a way to make your message and your heart sing above the crowds and be heard by those that need to hear it) – and Helen has in a very creative and unique way. LOVE HER!!

Chicago resident and grandmother Helen Lambin likes it when young people stop her on the street to give her compliments on her tattoos, or when they simply yell out, “Nice ink!”. She enjoys the fact that her tattoos have helped create connections with strangers, of different generations and cultures. As Dawn Turner Trice reported in her column about Lambin, the idea for getting a tattoo came to her three years ago when she was feeling down about growing older. One led to another, and then another.

I think this answers the age old naysayer question "What will you look like when you're older and covered with tattoos?" She looks great covered in ink.
old is gold
+Taimur Ahmad I love that phrase!!
but what is that can you tell me
Yeah I know. It's more of the concept of an older person with tattoos than the actual quality of them that most people whine about.
I'ved seen a whole body real tatto, honestly it was beautiful, consist of mix color, the skin is still young it has tightness on it,and shiny.
what is her age what you think
looks like a 3 year old attacked her with sharpies
hhaha she is hot
+Mark Secare lol yes it does, but it makes her really happy!
More power to her.
good!
Beautiful
Well hey, it's not like she has to worry about getting an uptight job anymore!
Nice.
good!
Tattoo mama!!!! Love it.
+Jeff Thornton however, these are "new ink" imagine the ink on before the skin sags then think of it
i'm not against tattoos at all… however… I am "kind of" disgusted with tattoos on girls arms… I'm not sure why… but I don't think it is a "lady-like" place for a tat…. some look ok… so i am not fully "against" but I hope everyone understands lol…and does not "flame"
Sometimes too much actually means too much and this is one of those times…
that's art… thank you
To each his own brother..to each his own…
