A friend of mine +Brian Mattocks & I started a project last year is finally starting to peek into the light of day. The Online Business League is an idea we cooked up at Podcamp Philly 2011.
We meet once a week, online, in a Google+ Hangout, and work on brining our four decades of business and online savvy together as a real-time, very transparent look at what it takes to conduct business online in 2012 and beyond.
The "About Us" link below gives a quick glimmer of what prompted us to start the project. Basically we both are tapped by business clients on a daily/weekly basis to help them navigate the online world (NOT just social media, the 'net is much bigger than that).
If you are in any way, shape or form involved in having your business transact online, we'd like you to come along for the ride.

About Us. Milling about a hangout one day we had a conversation that led to the creation of the Online Business League. It went something like this: “Wouldn't it be great if we could round up all …

I like it so far, keep up the great work.
That sounds great. I wouldn't mind coming along. When do you Hangout?
Great idea!
We just use Hangouts to meet, we haven't opened them up for anyone else yet. We have the first three video sessions online and you can see the type of things we cover.
Right in my backyard! You bet I'll investigate this.
I'm not sure how much we will use this yet, but here's the google+ page https://plus.google.com/111862145304500406846
I'm sorry that I misunderstood your post then. I thought that there was a connection between the mention of the Hangouts and the coming along for the ride…
I think we will be opening it up at some point, but not until we get a bit more organized.
Watching the video I think you're right about that 🙂 I really like the idea though and I am going to follow how it progresses…
+Jan Hemmingsen sorry about that! We are using Hangouts as a tool to get the project done. Actually I use Hangouts all the time with clients to facilitate communication and work sessions (I work as a coach to professional women looking to get their online presence in gear).
Maybe it was my desire to finally try Hangout that led to the misunderstanding 🙂 Watching your video I can see how you can use it as you described as it seems you can both share your screen as well as what the camera catches… As I said, thanks for the heads up, I will be tagging along…
