This past weekend I spoke at the Philadelphia Women in Tech Summit and was surrounded by about 200 women in tech that live and work in my area. NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK! I am now reaching out and getting contacted by no less than a dozen new clients and some funding opportunities.

Information Technology is what I do , besides PR> I work for Top Tier 1 company. This is the Shuttle of Global Communications. It just doesnt get anybetter. Anti Piracy, Anti Bottlenecking, Not embedded! 93000 servers in 87 Countries. Now thats what I am talking about. Get on Board.
Networks and mentoring! I don't work in tech, but did work for nearly 20 years as an economist — always in male dominated workplaces. Feeling connected is sooo important, for so many of the other points! — having a voice, having confidence, being courageous!
I was thinking of going to that but I spent the weekend fairly sick.
I think the part that should not be missed is the fact it is helpful to have both male and female mentors. I know there is a natural gravitation to female only mentors, but it is really a good idea to have a mix. The few women in tech workshops here in DC have stressed that a great deal.
